Breathing Space is short-term Income Protection and was created to meet the needs of customers whose earnings don’t follow a predictable pattern and who often find traditional Income Protection too rigid or difficult to access.
Limits
You can choose a monthly benefit from £541 to £1,250 each month.
Own Occupation
Covers your client for the job they actually do.
Premiums
- Age-costed guaranteed premiums. This type of premium offers low-cost premiums which rise with age.
- A choice of 1, 4, 8, 13, 26, or 52 weeks deferred periods.
Benefit periods
- Choice of 1 or 2 years
- Pays weekly or monthly into your client’s bank account or directly to their mortgage lender.
- Choose a benefit amount from £541 to £1,250 a month.
Making changes
When life changes, your client can make changes to their policy. In some cases, we won’t ask any extra health and lifestyle questions. You can find full details in our terms and conditions.
